Here at K&H, we offer a great variety of roller shade options. Whether you are looking to completely block external light, or just need to reduce heat and glare, roller shades can be a great answer to your window treatment problems.

Fabric opacities range from complete blackout to dim-out and privacy all the way to sheer solar screen. Blackout fabric, along with side and sill channels, is available to eliminate light gaps and completely block out external light. These shades are a perfect solution for conference rooms, theatres, and medical reading rooms.

Dual shades offer the ability to include two fabric opacities in one opening. This offers light control options for any type of use and situation.

Roller shades are available in both manual (clutch or crank operation) and motorized. Motorized shades can be controlled by an individual switch or keypad, a handheld remote, or tied into lighting or AV control systems for ease of operation. Vendors include Draper, Lutron, Mechoshade, Springs Window Fashions, and WT Shade.

While our main shade product is roller shades, we also offer cellular shades in regular fabric and fire-resistant fabrics. Cellular shades are an excellent source of insulation from heat and cold because of the honeycomb effect. They are available in light-filtering and room-darkening fabrics, and offer a more decorative look especially popular in hospitality and senior living spaces. Vendors include Springs Window Fashions or Comfortex.

Blinds and Shutters

There are many options for vane widths and materials for both vertical and horizontal blinds. Vertical blinds are available in fabric and vinyl vanes and matching valances. The most popular type of blind are the wood blind and the faux wood blind. They commonly come in 2”-wide slats but other width options are available. Faux wood blinds are less expensive than traditional wood blinds and offer an attractive option, especially in white and neutral colors. Wood shutters or plantation shutters, as they are sometimes called, are like a quality piece of furniture for your windows. There are countless options in colors, slat sizes, and frames, that suit every window type. Faux wood shutters are also available as a price-conscious option compared to wood shutters.

Springs Window Fashions and Norman are the largest manufacturers of blinds and shutters.
