I was very frustrated at the prospect of doing my own interior decorating so I called the people at K and H because they came highly recommended by someone I trusted. I was a little nervous about purchasing blinds from a custom window treatment designer. I’m on a strict budget but I didn’t know how to measure and hang blinds. I went into the K and Design Center and was treated so nicely that I made an appointment to meet with an interior designer. Kim came to my home a few days later. I was afraid I’d have a high pressure sales pitch, trying to get me to purchase high end blinds with all the bells and whistles. She stuck to the forms that I had filled out at the design center on what I had in mind for my budget. She made me feel as though I was her most important client and helped me pick out beautiful blinds that would coordinate well with my furniture and my home. Kim gave me some great decorating tips as well. I felt very at ease with her throughout the whole process. It was obvious that designing and decorating is her passion. After we agreed on what would look best for my windows she did all the measuring. When it was time for installation, I couldn’t have asked for a more professional or pleasant man to be installing my blinds. While the blinds where being installed, Kim and I decided to try to pick window treatments for another room in my house. We flipped through so much fabric until we found just the perfect one that I absolutely love. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I love my new blinds and am looking forward to my new window treatments.
